Ok, I want to see this now.

My rule of thumb with Hugh: He was sloppy “cheating” in recruiting and sloppy cheating on his wife.

Pretty easy to see where it would end.

The theory, to me, was you have a guy who was part of it last year and logically knows how to be an OC, and you tell him “you can at least go do some more of that,” with the potential to bring some upside.

And boy, he hasn’t.

And in theory, the process that led to the current hire is high floor, and again, clearly not

I don’t think it’s easy, but it sort of been impressive how sideways things have gone and how things always seem to be gunky and slow starting.

Like there are ways you get the output from the first two guys and feel decent about them, and man they’ve not managed that.

Usual rule of thumb at a non-top level program is two bad seasons in a row kill you, or the right two bad in three.

If they’re bad next year, that would be two in three. (I guess they could win like eight games with all defense, but that seems pretty tricky to do)
