At last, I have finished my drawing! Here it is: ink drawing featuring 12 princesses walking in side profile to the right. I’m really enjoying the parallels and getting to feel smart by reading something that was clearly probably an influence and I’m fascinated to see what ways they might continue to be similar or different on these same themes. More of this type of story is cool actually!!

Ive been really enjoying how terrifying and beautiful reading Octavia Butler’s Xenogenesis trilogy is but now I can too clearly see in my head how soon the most pretentious people you know who have read these books are going to start calling Puribus derivative trash or something cause they’re no fun

At work someone sold us a bunch of old dirty pin up girl magazines but they were so charming, not just cause the girls were cute, but also a lot of them had cartoons and/or were mostly cartoons. It was so cute. I’m sure also horribly sexist but too cute for me to care lol
