Exactly. The 208 is undoubtedly the "other way" to get between Des Plaines and Evanston and it should embrace that by focusing on the connections in-between, especially with poor the transfer is between the Pulse Dempster Line and MD-N is.

I had also been pushing for the 208 to be rerouted to service Glenview to give a one seat ride from both Evanston and Des Plaines for easier transfers to Amtrak and also remove the Old Orchard diversion on the 422 for trips that don't short turn there.

Can someone please explain to me how a bike that at most weighs 70 pounds and speed restricted is dangerous to the public but a car that weighs multiple tons and easily go 5 times as fast, if not more, isn't?

The stop at Main St is one of the most important in all of downtown Salt Lake City, seeing service from 7 bus routes across both the UTA and HVT and is a major transfer for 2 TRAX lines. There is no reason it should be in this state.

All of the eastbound 200 South bus stops are covered in snow and ice due to not being cleared and a lack of southern exposure. The stop at Main St is a literal ice rink.

Lastly the I-55 Express service will see an additional onbound bus from the Old Chicago Park-N-Ride

The 507 will see some headways cut in half on weekdays with the addition of service every 30 minutes.

The 350 will see headways brought down to as low as 15 minutes on both Saturday and Sundays.

Moving to the south side the 349 is seeing service hours expanded for all days and the removal of short turn trips on Sunday

Next and probably biggest is the 315 being extended to Midway helping out the transit desert along the Stevenson West of Cicero. Sadly still no direct bus connection to the Summit Metra and Amtrak station.

First is extended hours on the 213 with weekday service going until midnight and Saturday service until 10:30p. Still no Sunday service but that would have been more useful before Metra expanded weekend service on the UP-N

While my beliefs as a young adult are a lot different than they are there are still many that are the same like needing more accessible bike routes and access to schools. I could have been the literal only person giving regular public comment at village board meetings.

If there is one regret I have most from growing up is not being more active in my community. Citizenship in the Community was always the most dreaded Eagle-required merit badge in Scouts BSA because you couldn't easily get it at summer camp, but now it is by far my most appreciated of them all.

Fun fact, despite Rodney Craig being most active with the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference, even being a previous president, he is actually representing Cook County on Metra's Board of Directors.

I love that despite having two buses that service the Addison, both are so infrequent that this wouldn't affect the village, even at the "hub" in the Walmart parking lot where there isn't even sidewalk access, let alone any other amenities there.
