Now with the internet being people's primary source of contact as well. Not only are there far more options than myself but those options are also closer to home, rather than constantly drifting like I am.

I mourn the loss of a childhood I never had, filled with smiling faces I never saw.

I didn't get to have that connection until now, in my late twenties. And in my late twenties I'm experiencing that hyperindividualised, distant sort of connection that people settle into.

So for me, I feel like a spectre. A ghost, floating from place to place never really knowing my destination.

I have people around me now; but it doesn't feel real primarily because I didn't get to have that same progression others had.

Being inseperable from others in your childhood, seeking and craving the company of others before slowly transitioning into adulthood where folk grow distant.

I think people underestimate how much it fucks you up, knowing you are different at a very young age.

When your most formative experiences of life are of the direct consequences of exclusion, its extremely difficult to feel as though you belong, anywhere or with anyone.

if I succeed, no one will sing my praises besides myself. if I fail, no one will know other than me.

the stakes are non-existent, but at the same time, this shit matters more than anything I've done leading up to this point.

I have a vision and I want to realise it. and that matters a shitload.

assuming everything goes well tomorrow; the next few weeks are going to be an absolute thrash.

I'm going to try to use skills I haven't made use of in nearly a decade to realise a grand vision on a miniscule budget of both finances and time.
