I'm not feeling terribly shippy but...the brother of the duo is neuroatypical, just back from the big city and always making references to Sherlock Holmes stories, and the good-natured but not terribly bright former high school football hero turned police officer keeps trying to befriend him

It gives me a little bit of Northern Exposure vibes--I do love a quirky small town--although sometimes the writing is a bit clunky. Still, there's something charming about almost every one of the characters, and I'm having a low stakes good time watching it.

Also Adam Brody is in ep 7!

I stumbled across the TV series Good Cop Bad Cop, which is a joint venture by the CW and Prime. It's a comedic crime procedural in which 2 siblings are the lone detectives in a quirky small town where they solve cases with a ragtag team of people who may or may not be cut out for law enforcement.

Even though I'm well aware that mammograms hurt and I hate getting them done, somehow the actual experience still manages to be shocking EVERY TIME

I'm SO bad at part 2

I'm doing some redecorating, and I've decided to wallpaper my bathroom. I'm finally to the stage of ordering samples of the leading contenders. And there's a fucking tariff on the French wallpaper.

(It's not a lot of money on the sample, but would be costly if I go with this option. So stupid.)

Now that weed is legal in NY state, the stink is kind of everywhere. Also, my building backs onto single-family homes with backyards, and sometimes when the weather is nice, people break out the weed out there.

The smell of it literally makes me gag. I don’t know how anyone stands it.

We’re having absolutely gorgeous weather here with temps in the 70s. What’s the only thing that could mar it? Having the disgusting stench of weed filling my bedroom all night because people are taking the opportunity to get high outside.

Why can’t people just use edibles????
