On November 24, ICE performed an armed, warrantless raid on a Memphis family. Months later, they're still dealing with the fallout.

AN ACT Relating to prohibiting certain law enforcement agencies 2 from hiring certain federal employees; adding a new section to 3 chapter 10.93 RCW; creating a new section; and providing an effective date.4 5 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON: 6 NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 10.93 RCW to read as follows:7 8 (1) A general authority Washington law enforcement agency or a 9 limited authority Washington law enforcement agency may not employ 10 any individual who was hired as a sworn officer of the United States 11 immigration and customs enforcement on or after January 20, 2025. 12 (2) This section applies prospectively only and does not apply to 13 any individual hired by the agency prior to the effective date of this section.14 15 NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. This act takes effect October 1, 2026. 16 NEW SECTION. Sec. 3. This act may be known and cited as the ICE 17 out act of 2026.

WA state pals: there is currently a state bill (HB2641) that will ban certain federal officers (ICE) from employment at any state law enforcement.

The earlier incident started when he stopped his car after observing ICE agents chasing what he described as a family on foot, and began shouting and blowing his whistle, according to a source who asked not to be named out of fear of retribution. Pretti later told the source that five agents tackled him and one leaned on his back – an encounter that left him with a broken rib. The agents quickly released him at the scene. “That day, he thought he was going to die,” said the source.

My gosh. Alex Pretti was notifying neighbors that Trump and Vance's agents were chasing a family. A mob of agents then tackled him and broke his rib.

He thought he was going to die.

Then the very next week, he came back out to support his neighbors.

And a mob of agents killed him.
