Pratt? Not part of the Parks and Rec family. Kathryn Hahn, who was in only 10 episodes, and Paul Rudd, who was in only 5, otoh *are* from how the other cast members speak of them. That says something. (3/4)

Whenever a Parks and Rec cast member shows up, they will go on and on at length about every other cast member on Parks and Rec and what close family they all are. No one ever brings up Pratt, not even Aubrey, who referenced Andy as a character but not him. (2/4)

One thing I've really gotten from listening to Amy Poehler's Good Hang is a feeling of warmth over the fact that the rest of the cast of Parks and Rec seems to have hated Chris Pratt too. (1/4)

Neil Gaiman is crawling out of his bog two years after sexual assault allegations to play the sweet old fantasy uncle again -- complete with name-dropping that book you like & his twee "make good art" catchphrase -- all in order to (of course) sell you his upcoming book. Don't you dare fall for it.

What has been lost from old Hollywood is tragic, but this approach to resurrection is wrong-headed. It devalues the work of historians and the art of film restoration, as well. I would rather it stay lost than be recreated in this zombie form.

Easily the worst-played game of Traitors I've ever watched for both teams if you're in it for strategy, so bad mess as a game...sort-of fun mess in a what-have-they-fucked-up-now?? way.

(For me, Guffman actually doesn't fully live up to its comedic potential as a whole the way Best in Show does--like, the show is amateurish but since nothing really goes wrong beyond them being a bit (sweetly) shit, it's more cute than hilarious to me? but there's so many great moments.)

Watched Waiting for Guffman for the first time since the 90s, and there's so much of the DNA of Parks and Rec here. Blaine, MO/its residents are a proto Pawnee in so many ways, not to mention the mockumentary format. Ofc there's some Schitt's Creek too but that feels like a different kind of quirk.

My favourite dumb thing on Bridgerton this series is when it starts pouring down rain a moment after the characters specifically comment on how bright the stars are in the country and we see a huge expanse of clear cloudless sky.

I do love how the Netflix synopsis reads "It's a Cinderella story..." and I'm like, "No, it's literally just Cinderella." 😂

Finished DARK, and it's not only the best, most satisfying/coherent scifi/mystery box show ever made, but it's by far the best time travel story I've ever experienced in any medium. Can't recommend it highly enough. It shattered my mind into a thousand pieces. (Watch it in German, not dubbed!)

I'm an American citizen, have family in the States, and you couldn't pay me enough to visit there at the moment.
