"quiet time" is a great way to talk about that gap on your resume.

You won't have to look in the obituaries, it will just become suddenly very noisy outside, regardless of what time of day it is. People will be shooting off fireworks, and honking horns, and laughing and crying, and it's going to be like that for quite a while when it finally happens.

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

I am too embarrassed to ask Ann "hey can we eat grapes now?" and honestly I don't remember if I like them or not so fuckit I guess I'm boycotting grapes till I die.

I am laughing so hard. When I was a kid, my older sister told me that we had to boycott grapes so I obviously did; she was my idol. She never told me, though, that I was allowed to eat grapes again so I have literally not eaten a grape since I was like eight years old.
