Maybe under certain conditions the tracking fails? Like how A&R's forward rush sometimes fails to click and you end up doing a similar spin around?

Eh... to be fair that was gaming in general back then... to an extend. Also they did give you the option to autoaim or not later. Some people prefer no autoaim exactly because they don't want that quick facing and prefer manual aim.

First time I've heard someone complain about the knight's air time. I do keep forgetting that detail about the bishop's balls though. No wonder I can never learn how to RG them properly smh.
I don't think they even knew enemy step would turn out this way during development and it was too late later
