Governor Josh Shapiro signed a bill overnight adding an additional $5 million in funds to food banks in the area to help feed those without the necessary assistance they should be getting from the federal government.

The USDA is the fail safe for SNAP.

They have a contingency fund to ensure it’s covered in the event of a shutdown.

They’re refusing.

Grocery stores stepped up to try and help by offering discounts to any SNAP recipients and the USDA told them they had to stop.

Starvation as a policy choice.

I sympathize with a non-maga living in maga country.

On a larger scale, I hope the rest of the world understands that millions of people in the US didn’t vote for any of it either.
