It's as good as season 1, but with more interesting stories and better characters - by which I mean Superman isn't a block of wood, and Batman tells approx. 2 and a half jokes. So... actually way better than season 1.

I was wrong before when I said they don't do the death of Superman. I dunno how I forgot about it, but they do, and it is a million times more interesting than any other depiction, including the original.
