Sorry, not making myself clear. Many players use the 2 years left to negotiate for a new contract because it gives them better leverage. I expect Denis to be extended and paid more, but that’s my assumption. He did the same thing in his last contract.

He’s the 10th highest payed player in MLS. He’s a walking Golden Boot candidate every year and never gets hurt(knock on wood). We have danced this dance before with Denis, he thinks he deserves more money. He’s here until he’s not. I try not to worry over what ifs.
