so in 1918-1920 there was the Spanish Flu (COVID March 2020) and then in the 1920s they cut net immigration to zero (ICE in the streets. leading up to Black Tuesday in 1929. i could imagine the AI bubble bursting the first year of JD Vance’s term. at least we skipped WW1 v2 ?

i get it. and paris wasn’t built around the advent of the mass adoption of personal cars. but my bigger issue is that the US built the intercontinental railroad and literally went to space but then throw up their hands and pretend like we need to spend billions per mile of rail.
