I love my post-punk, but I've been looking for a new hard rock band for ages. Something with big guitars, throbbing bass, passion and power.

So, I'm late to the party, but better late than never. The Warning, three sisters from Mexico, are everything I needed.

A strong perfume suggestive of wild thyme and lemon arose as I moved my arms restlessly upon the covers, and a contraption such as I had never seen twirled round above my head, blowing a refreshing breeze upon the bed. This was most welcome, as even with the chamber’s tall windows thrown wide open, the air was hot and oppressive. The room itself was round and constructed with the same perfectly spherical rocks of the shore below the cliff. The regular and repeating arrangement of stones was soothing to the part of my intellect that was in the habit of seeking patterns in everything about me. Their dark brown surfaces gleamed as if regularly dusted and polished.

I suppose I should be talking more about my book that comes out next Monday but *gestures wildly around at everything*
