I was so impressed by the maturity of the storytelling, character journeys, and themes that I had to write down my thoughts.

I sought out fellow music enthusiasts to share influences and expand musical horizons. I went from a gatekeeper to a gateway metal pusher - which is a hell of a lot more fulfilling.

I was fortunate to mature past childish mindsets, but not everyone is and they're likely stuck forever gatekeeping.

It wasn't until after college that I matured enough to be a welcoming advocate instead. Focussing on my career, I removed myself from my school peers and bad habits but missed the camaraderie of shared passions. So...
