Putting this out here because I'm otherwise at a loss:

Does anyone know how to replace the cartridge slot (as in the part the cart physicaly slots into) for a PAL SNES?
The SNES is full size, I believe the PCB is 1994.

PLEASE let me know if you know where to get replacement parts! Pls share :)

OK I've found... Tools->Options->Text Editor->pick your language and there should be an Intelisense thing there where you can untick a bunch of stuff... good luck!

1000% I spend more time deleting what pops up or spend more time thinking about what I need to type to not make it autotype the wrong thing. I JUST WANT TO WRITE THE CODE... I'm sure there's a way to turn it off right? right?

Cheers, and appreciate you sharing your approach. I might go for a different Linux flavour, so it was great to hear your run down of the different types.

I almost exclusively use my Mac these days, and I never thought I'd say that.

I generally use Unity, Blender, Affinity, Audacity, VSCode and Fork.

The only thing different I'd use on Windows is Soundforge and TortoiseGit instead of Audacity and Fork. 🤷

I'm mostly Unity, Notepad++, Affinity, Audacity, VSCode, Chrome Browser (but I don't care which browser), Blender... so very similar! :D I'd choose Linux over Mac, but that's just me, I've never aligned well with Mac. Still holding out for an Amiga OS to take over the world... :/

A great video by Sos here, something I've been meaning to do for a while now! I didn't mind Win11 initially, but it's getting worse, much worse. Also realising I've moved a lot of my tools away from the 'main' players, so I'm in a great place to switch to Linux #gamedev #unitydev #indiedev
