What's more, even as the NYT concludes that
"there is no evidence that [Epstein's plan] ever came to fruition"
, this period in Epstein's life is
described contemporaneously by his teenage rape victims. One traumatised 16-year-old, whose diary surfaced in the most recent tranche of files, calls herself an "incubator" for Epstein's offspring. She chronicles Epstein's
"Nazi"-like effort to create a "superior gene
poolΒ»
. The fact that Sarah Ferguson, in a
recently released email, congratulates Epstein on a "baby boy" has raised questions about where the DNA-seeding project stands now.
Other Epstein survivors, in the files and in court, have recounted hellish experiences of' enslavement on the ranch, forced pregnancies, and bloody deliveries. In emails released by the justice department, Epstein is consulted dozens of times about pregnancies, sonograms, egg-freezing, and other obstetrical matters.
Iβm struck by the similarities between Epsteinβs ranch and what Musk seems to be doing with his baby factory.

So we've been using an Al agent since November to
answer leadership questions about metrics. It seemed
amazing at first fast answers, detailed explanations,
everyone loved it.
I just found out it's been hallucinating numbers this
entire time.
Our VP of sales made territory decisions based on
data that didn't exist. Our CFO showed the board a
deck with fake insights. The Al was just inventing
plausible sounding percentages.
I only caught it by accident when someone asked me
to double check something. I started digging, and
holy shit, it's bad.

This is somewhat more of an old-fashioned ICE ruse. Arguably this is a sign of the agency going back to more standard βtargeted enforcementβ tactics designed to be not as disruptive as the more recent aggro-style arrests. Watch for more like this to come.

There are typically a couple of different mechanisms, a hydraulic ram or a screw which shreds the material.
Both press the material against a barrier to compact it then push it into a bag.

Β
If they don't want to be accused of kidnapping, then don't drag people out of cars & houses without warrants.

And if they don't want to be accused of being lawless, then start following the law.

Polling these last two weeks is very clear that Trump has not only lost the argument about ICE, he's also lost it on mass deportation. Country wants him to focus on the criminals and leave the rest of us alone. From new Yahoo/YouGov:

Just to be clear, it was activists on the ground who did all of the work, developed the techniques that were rolled out nationwide, and who were brutalized by ICE while trying to protect their neighbors.
They deserve all of the credit. They were brave, and ICE retreated from Los Angeles in defeat.

Protestors responded with a nationwide escalation that forced the administration to back down on their military threats.
Then protestors in LA began developing rapid response techniques to track ICE.

Los Angeles: The campaign begins
The first immigration raids began in Southern California in late May, driven by Trump's demand to detain 3,000 people a day. Masked and heavily armed federal officers, many of whom were accustomed to border patrols or targeted operations that did not typically involve tense encounters with the public, were now sweeping densely populated neighborhoods, scooping up Latino immigrants at bus stops, homeless shelters, Home Depot parking lots, farms, workplaces and homes.
Since itβs so good Iβll nitpick a bit.
Itβs fair to say that what became Rapid Response started in Los Angeles.
DHS claimed to have done a couple of similar, smaller scale, operations elsewhere before coming to Los Angeles.
But it blew up in LA when the community opposed a raid on a Home Depot.
