We've enjoyed helping out with leafletting for Hosnieh Djafari-Marbini, Independent Councillor for Northfield Brook recently.

Hosnieh is an excellent councillor who does great work both for the residents of her ward and the wider community.

Reform UK: Stephen Hartley suspended after pro-Jimmy Savile tweets Stephen Hartley was announced as a Reform UK candidate in the Banbury Hardwick ward, but has since been suspended.

We're appalled that Reform stood a candidate with such vile views. At best this is a complete failure by Reform to screen a candidate. At worst it is a passive endorsement. Notably Reform did not suspend the candidate until they were contacted by BBC News.

Whether she is elected or not, Jabu Nala-Hartley is proud to be a member of her local community and proud to be on other members' side.

Jabu said "I've often taken a lovely stroll and ventured into the wildlife with my family. Do not underestimate a community that mobilises on this scale The level of commitment here reflects a people that care about the environment, their neighbours and surrounding communities."

Hundreds of people turned up to the public meeting at Sandhills School yesterday on the proposed development on the green belt. This included lawyers from the developers, who found a well prepared community. It was an enjoyable experience in exercising community power.
