I get the appeal of physical books, but I often read in English (not native tongue for me) and often books I want are not readily available at library etc. So I just end up reading more by reading ebooks.
I read with night light and minimum brightness to save my eyes.
Seems better than not reading.

I have always had the tendency to burn myself out with creative work by pushing myself too hard.

This year I have been trying to learn to step away, to have a breaks like sensible person even when feeling inspired. It has helped to mitigate those lows a lot. And I have felt more creative than ever.

Funny thing about gen AI is, that almost anything I would actually use one for, can be done locally on my machine, in a way that doesn't make any revenue to anyone.
Big proprietary models are still better with some tasks like coding, but with some performance gains, that gap is closing fast.
