I'm half expecting an emergency ruling from SCOTUS extending presidential immunity to spouses and children.

My concern is that I don't think the Republicans would have gone down this road if they hadn't already done the math that said they were going to come out on top regardless what Dems could counter with.

Cancel culture isn't new; we've always had it. We literally write essays about it in high school for the Scarlet fucking Letter. What changed recently is who we cancel - we no longer cancel you for for being queer, using drugs, divorcing & remarrying, but for being abusive, hateful, or a sex pest.
