Little Dog kept sniffing the air and looked alarmed.

I looked back and thought I saw three huge tree stumps.

On closer inspection, these tree stumps each had a huge set of antlers and were just laying on the ground looking at us.

Elk.

I knew I saw this somewhere before. Funny that it’s almost exactly what’s actually happening now.

The idea of action movies gets a workout during the opera house sequence, and the script pushes the idea of spies as performers to its logical end, hinging scenes on whether agents can lie to other agents or pretend to be other people. But these thematic touches are just part of the experience.

No matter how interesting, I am probably never going to listen to a podcast, even about a thing I love. I will read a transcription of an interview, but I just don't have it in me to do the podcast thing. Same for "video essay" shit on YouTube. Just can't process it.
