When you want to die, everyone has a motive to keep you alive, whether a loved one, therapist or doctor. It can be incredibly lonely if no one's on your side. I hope other death doulas step up. I don't want anyone to die, but if they're going to anyway, they shouldn't have to die alone.

Working on really centering my suicide doula offering in my death doula practice. Even if no one hires me, I want to open the conversation.

It feels like sacred work to meet people where they're at and honoring their agency, rather than trying to change their mind or commit them involuntarily.
