This MIGHT be my final Chicago artwork. Not to say it will never happen. However, this is the first time in a decade I’ve had no Chicago ideas in the chamber. If I do more Chicago work, it will only be neighborhood maps. And, I’m not 100% sure that will happen…

I like the idea. I liked the drawing. However, something is not clicking with me on the final illustration. My first thought is that I should have been more conservative instead of using this rounded look. Oh well...I'm fine with it not being perfect. I have more to come...

New work! This is the companion piece to my Chicago Amusement Park.

The Chicago Amusement Park is based off a Krustyland drawing I saw from the Simpsons. The premise is straightforward…what would a Chicago themed amusement park look like. There are a few nods to former Chicago amusement parks (Riverview and White City) as well.

My artwork is on Season 4 of The Bear! I knew ahead time my artwork would be on a set. I just didn't know if it would be on film. When Sydney visits her cousin in episode 4, you can see part of it on the wall. I posted the shot from the scene and the full artwork.

57th Street Art Fair in Hyde Park is going to be final street/art festival. The art won’t stop but, it is just time for me to “hang up the tent”.

Chicago Now! I realized a lot of my artwork tends to take a historical perspective on Chicago so I wanted to make something that focuses on what I like about Chicago currently.

Definitely expect to take extended breaks from posting. I have still been working on new art and plan to post when it seems appropriate….just been focused on drawing the past few months.
