Looking more at him and he's young for his college year and hits the ball VERY hard. Very model-esque pick. I don't know a ton about him but clearly the Mets just like the player. I expect him to sign for slot so this isn't a bonus pool play.

Given his arm and speed I'm curious why the analysts on MLB said that. Mets seem to value positional versatility so no I don't think he'll only get reps at 2B.

I've been thinking a lot tonight about how many players could be here if their parents had money. Not your point...but generally former pro players have a lot of money and unlimited resources for their kids to get the best everything.
