When we ventured onto the ice, the players noticed that the boys were in sneakers. Hillary Knight and (I think) Brianna Decker, swooped up to them toddling on the ice and said, Why aren't they in skates? and then scooped them both up in a basket carry and zoomed away with them--they loved it! 2/3

quick story about Hillary Knight:
Our sons were little when we lived in Wisconsin and they loved going to Lady Badger hockey. The female hockey players did all kinds of outreach, including community skate-arounds. My wife & I took the boys to one at Lake Oswego. The players signed their posters 1/3
