A hoot of an episode! I read somewhere that this might’ve originally been written for the unmade Phase II series? This is definitely in that stretch where TNG is firing on all cylinders.

The only thing better than getting a page of comics?

Getting *two* pages of comics.

I don’t do full spreads very often, but it’s a fun way to challenge my chops while working on a bigger canvas. And since this story takes its characters around the world, well, why not?

Coloring a comics page is the part where I second-guess myself the *most*. In this case, I'm setting up a look that should last across a whole project.

Anyone got any advice or notes for how this comes across?

I shared part of this the other day, but after knocking out this comics spread, I'm feeling pretty excited. We're only in competition with ourselves when it comes to art, and the Ben of 10 years ago would be pleased with how far he's come. Still plenty of growth ahead, though!

Oh man, it's the first time in *months* that I've inked a new comics page-- feels good to be back on this kind of drawing again!

I made a new video to promote UltraMax volumes 1&2 now on Kickstarter. Watch it and consider backing today!

We have just a few days to go get this funded!! These two books hold a very special place in my heart and I would love to make them come true! Check out our double feature campaign!

Not to say that this is the only thing that I’ll be working on in days ahead. There’s still a lot of Waking Life to redraw, for instance. (And that’s before I work on the third volume of that comic!)

There’s plenty to keep my creative side going for the foreseeable future… 😇

Just finished penciling some pages for a new graphic novel pitch. This one’s gonna have a pretty wide scope— figuratively, and literally, y’all! 🌏 🤞

And I’m only their English teacher 📸 😬
