Blockout finished. Time to finish it off with a bit of sculpting! I always take my blockouts as far as I can in Blender and only do the fial touch ups in Zbrush.

I feel you. The worst. I've started to accept that sometimes I will go through years of just 'existing' and I need to be alright with being 'unproductive'. But it's hard.

Character artists avert your eyes. Haven't made anything remotely close to a character in 10 years! Yikes! Having fun though!

I mostly use the Projection feature, and also I use it for retopping sometimes :)

One of my favourite things about 3D Coat is the Projection feature. I can take a screenshot of my mesh in 3D, and then overpaint it with my brushes in Photoshop and reproject it to my model. It's an awesome way of handpainting a complex unwrap with awkward seams. Highly recommend!

I've been working onto this for so long it does feel like I have been 'going to the fountain' at this point when (if) I work on it!

Final albedo touchups in 3D Coat. I really love this program.
