I loved The Whisperwicks books and The Chronicles of Whetherwhy. They are in different worlds though rather than weaved into ours. These look great!

I finished 2 excellent magical books this week. Both expertly weave magic into our own world, making it feel like the most natural of phenomena and helping me look at our world with a different slant. What brilliant magical books would you recommend? #KidsBooksFriday #KidLitUK #UKKidLit

πŸ“š Alternate reads to Mr Stink πŸ“š
You don’t need Walliams when you have these incredible books. If you know a child who is reading #MrStink then here’s some alternate reads they could read next to explore poverty and/or homelessness. Which other books would you recommend? #kidlituk

In terms of kids books, I tend to choose books automatically that aren’t by celebrity authors. I guess I’ve always wanted to have a book published but not sure if it’s a conscious decision. Kids books wise I haven’t read many celeb authors. I do like Frankie by Graham Norton but not for kids.
