Day 30 is a cult classic from 1981. This little film shocked audiences then and is a franchise that even through its dark humor can always make people squirm.
Regardless all of them are pretty groovy.

Day 29 is a movie I haven't seen in years. We're going with the 1986 remake, which was an adaptation of the 1982 musical, which was inspired by the original 1960 film (starring a young Jack Nicholson).

Day 28 isn't the first ever zombie movie, but it's definitely the most influential. Interesting tidbit: due to a name change and filing error, this film remains in the public domain and can be readily watched almost anywhere.

Day 26, and I realized we had shockingly few Stephen King entries this year, so we're fixing that with one of my favs (book and movie), I watched to remake and didn't really dig it.

Day 25, we've had some scares, let's have some fun! This evenings movies is a great parody of so many wonderful adaptions that came before, in a way that only Mel Brooks can do.

Fun fact: All special effect were achieved IN camera. No CGI, no rotoscoping, no tweaking anything. Everything was accomplished 100% on set and with ONLY practical effects and camera tricks.

Day 21 is another classic from the 80s, with arguably of the best soundtracks of the era. Just a small part that makes this movie such a cult-classic.
