When you lose a family member, it's always the little things that cause that tear, that pang in your heart. Getting out 4 bowls instead of 5 for breakfast, ordering 4 flea collars instead of 5, cleaning 4 litter boxes instead of 5. It's been 4 weeks since Mickey's passing 💔the hurt is still great 😭

This is Mickey and Minnie, their first day at their new home. They were a bonded pair at the shelter, so naturally, we couldn't separate them. They spent their whole lives together. Both have since gone over the Rainbow Bridge. We miss both more than words can say.💙😿

Our little three-legged Mickey (RIP) loved to "go camping". He found tents all over the house. His favorite is pictured here with his one hind leg sticking out. We miss all his antics, and so do his best mates.😿

For anyone struggling with the loss of their companion and best friend, cat, I highly recommend Kitten Lady on YouTube. She has helped me with my absolute guttural response to the loss of my precious Mickey. I have been feeling so despondent since he left four weeks ago. Sleep is elusive.😭💔😿

I am 81 years old and have been living very healthily with no meat my entire life. There are so many good alternatives, especially now, that you should never feel deprived.
