African govts have cast out LGBT people to exist in strange lands & survive on scraps as refugees. Once able, learned, skilled men and women with purpose, goals and dreams have become beggars. Loving another should NOT be criminal.

Queer Refugees need to have a conversation about mental health. Depression is real. So many souls have been lost. Suicide is rampant! It is hard to find help. Rejection is heavy, stigma, disease and even survival in strange lands. It’s time we held space for each other, to heal.

Congress has passed Trump’s deep cuts to Medicaid and food assistance — programs that LGBTQ+ people rely on — all to give tax breaks to the wealthy.

This bill betrays the promise that elected officials make to protect their constituents.

Do not forget... We will not forget.

Unfortunately, there's a decline in providing protections for LGBT people globally with several anti-gender movements and policies that undermine the rights and dignity of LGBT individuals.
This threatens legal protections and endangers lives by undermining safety for one to live authentically.

Governments often cover up their failures by blaming the most marginalised groups. Denying the rights of women and LGBTI people, plunging our communities into despair, and trying to erase our history.

But together, we can fight back.
We can pull each other up and create impact.
