Question, as brain is not braining well: how would you suggest framing the print for optimal viewing? Mat (and if so, mat proportions)? Minimalist frame?

were not enjoyable in the slightest. I had to significantly curtail my socializing, and it was lonely. Now I reply, "I don't drink; I stopped ten years ago." People seem to assume the worst, but they respect the "no", which is a win.

I gaslit myself into believing that the differing effectiveness of generic drugs was just a conspiracy theory. This is both validating and infuriating, because I don't remember what taking an "effective" ADHD medication feels like. I'll need to fill brand-name for comparison.

That said, I carry a handcuff key. Cops DO NOT fuck with me or my patients. Having RBF is a superpower, sometimes. And I've seen too much.

Re twist: we have those providers do ride alongs with us, so it felt like a reasonable level of embellishment.

I'm not personally familiar with West Coast EMS, but the operations were fairly similar to my experience working for a Major Private Contractor in an Important City. The call types, on the other hand, were extremely similar to my current civil service shifts, in a massive city.

That's a great interview. I use EMS 20/20 as a supplemental teaching tool for students, and it never disappoints.

Spouse had me watch it. I was pleasantly surprised. Even the most unbelievable parts were *so much closer to reality* than the public could comprehend. My brain is broken, so of course I immediately wanted to sign up for an extra shift.

Trying to take an Rx computerized evaluation re: my neurodivergence, 4 days past the deadline, & I can't get my webcam to work because I hyperfocused on device access/security 2 years ago & got distracted midway by ND spouse panicking over a beeping smoke detector & now I don't know what I did. 🫠

Do you experience dry eye/mouth and slowing of gastric motility with increased antihistamine usage, and if so, how do you mitigate that? I'm already prone to dry eyes and a fussy GI system, and antihistamines seem to worsen that for me. I've yet to track which of them might be the biggest offenders.

Thank you for saying this! I feel like I'm shouting at clouds every time a patient tells me their *doctor* advised against taking diphenhydramine or any daily antihistamine due to "a study that showed risk of dementia". 🫠

You keep bringing it up, thus my neurodivergence demands I talk about a family member who died of CJD. TLDR; it was diagnosable via a layperson's description of symptoms over the course of the disease, and it was horrible for everyone. 👎👎
