One way scapegoats; the other names our real enemies.

It has been, as I assume you intended, making the rounds among New York Jews. I don't think we've met, although my guess is we've been in the same rooms on more than one occasion. According to Facebook we have 138 mutual friends. My mom and I only have 122! Among our areas of overlap is the institution you have led for the past quarter century, Park Avenue Synagogue. When you were graduating high school in Los Angeles, I was also in high school, here in New York.
