Met the bees!!!! I think they liked me :)

I saw something special at the beehive... an orientation flight, where hundreds of young bees take their first flight, looping around the hive in increasingly large circles to gain familiarity with their surroundings and memorize the location of the hive. WOW!!!

💜 Maybe in 70 years all the freaks (derogatory) will die out and we can still live the dream because we neeeeed it

I also think it's great that climbers must now hire a Sherpa instead of Kris from Norway or whatever, because I believe Sherpas should be paid 800 million dollars for the crimes against their mountain by Kris from Norway

For instance I agree with Nepal's new requirement that mountaineers must have summitted a 7000m peak before they are issued an Everest permit. The China side has had this requirement for years and reports significantly fewer deaths

Every few years (ever since I read Into Thin Air a decade+ ago) I go into a hole of reading everything new I can get my hands on about Everest & the Himalayas, and I form intensely strong & confident opinions about climbing them, something I could never physically do

I didn't have the "more intoxicated" experience but one should avoid drinking on it because it lowers the seizure threshold which alcohol also does! it definitely gave me VERY bad headaches for a while
