I’m at Apple WWDC 2024 and the expectations for a big day in AI are palpable. Follow all the latest updates, analysis, and context for all the announcements at zdnet.com.

#VisioPro is the most interesting product Apple has released in years because it's flawed, imperfect and takes big risks. And it does some fascinating things. If I was grading it right now, I would give it an A+ for innovation and a C- in product development. Full review to come.

I've tried Vision Pro and other top XR headsets and here's the one most people should buy Vision Pro is an incredible $4,000 developer kit most people should not buy. But, you should definitely try it at an Apple Store or take advantage of the two-week return policy.

Here's my buying advice for Apple Vision Pro: Most people shouldn't buy one unless you're building an app or testing it in your organization or industry. But definitely try one by booking an Apple Store appt or get one and take it back w/in the 14-day return window.

New iPhone 15 Pro overheating reports: Still too hot after iOS 17.0.3 and fresh issues arise after t... While iOS 17.0.3 appears to have resolved the fast-charging issue, some iPhone 15 Pro users are reporting ongoing heat problems, plus a new screen burn-in issue.

Since I posted my thermal photos of how iOS 17.0.3 resolved the iPhone 15 Pro's overheating issue with fast-charging, I've received multiple reports of people still having other overheating issues and some who started having new overheating issues AFTER iOS 17.0.3.
