They set a new record: 14 preliminary detections!
Even more gratifying than these results is the experience of the students: "It's great, we work like astronomers!" #AstroEd
What can you expect? Through the weekend we'll have workshops and training on innovative STEM education techniques and classroom programmes, including our StAnD and EXPLORE projects, plus opportunities to network with space educators and experts.

These last tasks may sound silly, but building team spirit and relationships is actually crucial to the mission. The students’ ability to collaborate and communicate under stress will be key to their success over the coming days.

So far, the students have been busy with final preparations before entering isolation. As soon as they arrived in Alqueva they began working – donning their mission polos 👕, going through final briefings 🖥️ and a round of classic team-building activities 🤝, like trust falls and stick manipulation.
