I liked a lot of these trade fits for the teams you highlighted, especially for the Eagles.

Most fans I believe would take Woolen in a heartbeat over what they’ve seen from Ringo and Jackson, which didn’t get better last night against New York.

I’ll also add that the Eagles need to figure out what to do on kick return. At this point, Tank Bigsby and Dillon aren’t the answers.

You would be better putting off Britain Covey (practice squad) or Xavier Gipson out there, the latter who was inactive once again.

Looking back at last night’s Eagles loss, there were two things that stood out:

1️⃣ The Eagles got outplayed & outmuscled on both sides of the ball at the point of attack.

2️⃣ The tackling was horrible, between Mukuba not wrapping up on the TD and Adoree’ Jackson with 2 horrible attempts.

The Eagles failed to address their defensive line depth and CB2 spot adequately in the offseason and it’s catching up to them.

Also, Vic Fangio has to get his unit in order. The Eagles’ defense allowed 172 rushing yards and allowed the Giants to go 11-of-16 on third down.

Granted, they had no Jalen Carter, but that was an opportunity for multiple people to step up.

This is not a recipe for success.

Orion Kerkering was very candid after his miscue.

That Dillon fumble should likely put a bow on a humiliating loss by the Eagles.

This team has a lot to clean up on both sides of the ball, especially if they want to get back to where we think they should be.

It’s been the same ole story with Kevin Patullo and Co. to start the season.

This Phillies team needs a significant roster makeover in the offseason and a change in philosophy.

Game 2 was the bunt and Game 4 was the inexcusable throw to home.
