yeh I didn't know either, I just see them with this broom opening McDonalds or a road
02.10.2025 23:28 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0wait until they find out about the Queen of Poland! Or this shit
01.10.2025 22:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This is doing numbers (2 of them) over there, so I thought I'd post it over here for you all. It's about football
18.09.2025 23:00 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Bet you wish you could celebrate *some* violent acts On Here now, eh
10.09.2025 20:33 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Have a good one, man
07.09.2025 21:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Still don't want to use my real name but I haven't actually had the spirit to write anything in years so little point in the author name now. So I've put initials of both for now. It's depressing, but the truth!
28.08.2025 00:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0either of you played To A T?
26.08.2025 22:10 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Fair play, it took viewing as many as 7 posts on here to see a screenshot from Twitter this time. I see it's much more fun here and nobody regrets leaving, still.
12.08.2025 22:03 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0maidenhead to sunningdale. well, see you in a few weeks
01.08.2025 23:29 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Checking in, 4 of the first 5 posts I see are about Twitter. See you in a few more weeks, then!
08.07.2025 22:14 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0that Speer interview that was on BBC4 last night is a good comparator, and i'm not even hyperbolising. Just someone who was signing off on all sorts of atrocity so he could easier get on with his projects
02.07.2025 21:46 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0i'm so upset. it's somewhere on facebook but scraping from there feels harder than pirating brand new films
18.06.2025 19:08 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I just think we can get the US Dems onside if we pitch it as an anti-Trump measure
16.06.2025 00:45 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I meant more the vibe but this is also useful to know
16.06.2025 00:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0What is the policy on this web site around the notion of the Boer, vis a vis what is to be done
13.06.2025 01:18 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Watched that BBC Lear with Hopkins the other night, nice that they slid an Eric Cantona quote in
12.06.2025 22:41 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Cowing to respectability politics as though suddenly all these racists will accept them if they start waving the right flag would be a mistake, because they will never accept them

05.06.2025 02:30 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0For a start @mathaiaus.bsky.social won't follow me back nor will he post the Tsikouris video

04.06.2025 21:50 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Did a thread to sort of answer this but I can also recommend the Balkan Insight article balkaninsight.com/2025/06/04/n... bsky.app/profile/prst...
04.06.2025 21:48 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 1So there you have it - it's a long and dark road down from here with no sign of when or where the ascent might commence. If at all. At worst, Poland will leave the EU within a decade - currently seems a very remote prospect but at one point so did Brexit!
04.06.2025 21:47 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The left have split (of course) and there's enough bad blood that the two sides probably won't reconcile, leaving their ~10% split, potentially leaving them both out of the next Sejm.
04.06.2025 21:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Given the trends at the presidential election, that next Sejm election will probably return a hellishly even split for full fascism, libertarian fascism, whatever you want to call PiS and PO's Toryism. 1 and 2 don't like PiS either, but might swallow their pride to get rid of PO.
04.06.2025 21:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Which they *should*. Which would just bring us back to the Coalition limping along until the next serious bill, and there is no doubt that Nawrocki's role is to wreck them and paralyse the Sejm, forcing elections either way. It's hard to imagine them surviving the full term to 2027.
04.06.2025 21:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The one opposition party who might vote yes are Razem, though they seem likely to permit a free vote and at least one of them has become apparently deranged lately. So it's likely to be at most 215 that the Coalition need to beat.
04.06.2025 21:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The govt coalition technically holds 242 seats vs 217 for everyone else. That 242 is by no means assured though. Poland 2050, a group I'm still to fully understand the point of except "PO but even more loudly Catholic", have implied they will abstain. Plus of course, the risk of internal dissent.
