I'm going to check out My War Gone By, thanks. I'm assuming you've read the Thor: Vikings 5-part series Ennis wrote for Marvel's Max imprint? That's another one of my favorites.

No, I'm talking about "Fury" (the 2001 series). I think that's one of the best things Ennis has ever written (from what I've heard him say in interviews, he seems to agree.). It's dark, even by Ennis' standards.

After Preacher, this is one of my favorite Ennis stories ever (along with the Nick Fury limited series he did, which was fucking brilliant).

I'm a big Preacher fan, but when they teamed up again to do the Punisher "Welcome Back Frank" series they sealed the deal for me as one of the greatest writer/artist duos ever.

Growing up, 100% punk and metal. But I listen to everything these days .... I love indie folk, jazz, even some electronica, anything moody (and especially) instrumental. Any music that puts me in a writing mood is a plus.

Yeah that song is pretty hot. Not as good as Skyrizi or Wegovy though.

The singer of that band was my neighbor for years. I saw them play once. Good band, but not really my thing.
