Reeves considers cut to green levies in effort to reduce cost of energy bills
Exclusive: Chancellor hopes to save up to Β£170 from average bill but industry insiders say move would be βdisastrousβ
Canβt quite believe the Chancellor is seriously considering slashing support for home energy efficiency as a way to cut fuel bills π. Locking people into cold & leaky homes which will cost them more to heat & decimating the insulation industry at same time. Total madness π

A story in Private Eye, headlined "Minority representation on TV causes outrage". The article reads: "There has been widespread support for prominent Reform MP Sarah Pochin after she complained about the over-representation of minorities on television.
Said one angry viewer, "She's right. Every time you turn on the telly there's another Reform MP being interviewed by Laura Kuenssberg."
She added, "I respect their way of life and their strange customs, but Reform MPs comprise only 0.7 percent of the House of Commons. Yet Nigel Farage is on Question Time more than Fiona Bruce."
"I'm not prejudiced. Some of my best friends are swivel-eyed loons, but enough is enough. There are too many people with angry red faces on television."
Private Eye nailing it.

Fit and active cyclist here, but with knee issues - ebikes can allow you to keep using 2 wheels rather than 4 for a long time.
Misuse by some cyclists (exploited delivery cyclists on piece rate or minimum wage?) does not mean that ebikes themselves are a problem.

There is no such thing as neutrality when it comes to documentary photography βitβs a myth. You always take sides, either consciously or subconsciously, and acknowledging that is essential if your work is to maintain any element of authenticity. Thereβs nothing worse than fake neutrality.
