On the other hand, the slogan can be easily seen in a negative light because dolls are something artificial and man-made, and it also doesn't include trans guys, who are just as affected by anti-transgender hatred.

I'm a big torn on how I feel about the "Protect the Dolls" slogan. On one side, it's catchy, cute, rooted in queer history and I've loved plushies and dolls ever since I was a kid ❤️
