I had a run in with ICE snatching a man out of his car while walking my children to school this morning in NW DC

I asked a neighbor to continue walking my kids to school and I turned back to document and confront the ICE agents.

We had a friend dress as Santa and go water skiing on Christmas day. It was unsettling to see open water in January. Never in my life had I seen a Christmas without snow. Even the ice road up north is taking longer and longer to freeze, and break up is happening earlier than ever. Not good at all.

My winters go down to -50. I have a reason to complain. However, I still WANT winter to happen. We've had a few years recently without snow at Christmas. It's definitely NOT normal.

Its even better for us diehards who have witnessed and supported them through some pretty tough years.

Watching them play this year has felt like magic. It's been absolutely beautiful watching this team.

Every country has a powerful right wing that argue “if you tax the wealthy, they’ll leave”

We need to start calling their bluff.

We need to make it so the ultra wealthy either contribute enough to be a positive part of society, or be globally shunned and unable to extract further funds from us.

Couple this with struggling farmers, a lack of farm workers, price increases, and ultimately severe food shortages....

The only option left will be to eat the rich.
