Thinking of seeing the new Predator movie, or the one where Katniss and Edward Cullen are married tomorrow. Or nothing.

Thoughts? Recommendations?

I'm not a huge Predator fan, or Katniss and Edward Cullen fan, but those movies look interesting. I dunno.

I've only seen the first one, so I don't really have an opinion. I suspect filmmakers are more visually minded than us and focus more on that aspect of it.

Yes, but mostly we recorded movies off TV. And while it does seem like a lot, if you adjust for inflation, you have to remember that wages were the same and the economy was strong, so families had way more disposable income for stuff like this.

Just watched the #Frankenstein behind-the-scenes documentary on Netflix, and I also really recommend that. There's a subplot about the kinds of stories GDT tells, and it's interesting at the end to hear him talk about wanting to do something different after the discussions I've had about the movie.
