Truly it is not safe to fly. I've been watching the news the entire week. Clearly the effects of this shutdown are creating dangerous environments in the sky. The ATC clearly have been overworked without pay. People gotta keep their feet on the ground.

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.

As many have pointed out, Mamdani didn't stand apart from our trans brothers and sisters. He didn't play the "Gee, gosh, it sure is complicated," milquetoast moderate card. And he crushed.

The way forward is together, not over the bodies of our own.

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

Truly I’m worried how me and my family are going to get through this November without SNAP. Going to try to find local food banks around my area. I’m truly sad but I’m also angered. This will trigger the worse hunger crisis, since the Great Depression. :(

If you have it please donate cash to the food banks. $10 in their hands will feed more people than the $10 worth of canned goods you can buy for retail prices. Also check on your elders. Many of them will not admit they rely on these programs so grocery gift cards or a surprise bag of staples

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

One thing I've noticed with the whole situation with the girl who got caught stalking and being parasocial to Zach is being bullied online.

Even if her actions were inappropriate, it doesn't give anyone the right to make fun of her.

Actions have consequences, but bullying makes you an asshole.

I say it’s good that it’s getting attention, as you are providing thoughts on a critical topic. It’s a conversation that needs to happen given the increase of parasocial behaviors.
