The good news is genAI is mathematically incapable of replacing a thinking human.

The bad news is the wealthy capitalists buying Altman et al's promises don't care about anything but cutting labor costs and don't mind poisoning the world to do so.

The goal of all genAI is to replace human workers with bots. Why pay a human who needs time off and can fight back when you can employ a chat bot for less that works 24/7?
