Some people wanted to know how I put the DK sprites in the gameplay and I finally had some free time so I made a low-effort, unlisted follow-up to my tutorial. It's nothing fancy, a lot of tedious hand-keying, but there are a few tips in there:

Actually, even harder than editing Lily into the "More popular than Jesus apology," was colorizing and adding a beard to the only image I could find of Paul kissing.
The camera zooms into George during this scene, because I'm talking about Handmade Films, so I wonder how many people even saw Lily.
In my opinion, the best subtle gag in my Kappa Mikey video is that after mentioning a Lily x Paul McCartney fanfic I read once, every time I mention the Beatles afterward (twice), I edited Lily next to Paul.

In this clip, I describe how I discovered the show, and why I made an eight (let me repeat... EIGHT!) hour video about it.
When I made that DKC video I did the bare minimum, which meant a lot of sprites (especially for DK Jr) were missing. This time I made EVERY sprite 1 to 1 from the original game, and they WILL be on Spriter's Resource for anyone to use for any purpose (maybe a romhack? hint hint).

To celebrate (and because I'm hyped for that new DK game) I'm making a tutorial video, and in the process I've remastered the sprites. Here's a sneak peak:

A caricature of myself I did 10 years ago. Notably the hair is really coarse and lacks specular highlights, I have no eyelashes, my pupils/irises are too small, my nose looks strange, there's no warmth or subsurface scattering to my skin, and I feel like the emotion is kind of unreadable. The pose is unclear, and lacks a sense of weight or balance too.
A caricature of myself (?) I did 15 years ago. It's very amateur. No eyebrows, no eyelids, the mouth is just an indentation into the sphere that is my head, there's a stiff/symmetrical pose, no textures (I didn't know how to do those at the time), the lighting is just a single spot light... it's not good. But I was in highschool teaching myself how to do everything.
I was feeling a little down on my latest animation. It didn't look QUITE the way I wanted, but then I found a caricature I did of myself around 10 years ago, and I have improved a lot since then! ...And that's not even mentioning the one from 15 years ago! (I THINK that's supposed to be me?)
