In literature, isnβt this called foreshadowing?

06.10.2025 21:17 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0But red America will pay the price, red states being the largest recipients of government funds and services. Funny how that works.

26.09.2025 19:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Seems like it's past time to splash one or two of these guys.
19.09.2025 17:51 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Who would have thought that generals would fear a draft dodger?
19.09.2025 15:20 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Cheaper to kick them out.
19.09.2025 15:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's going to take more than protesting.
Boycotts, strikes...There can be no new production without writers or actors.
Dems are basically a joke at this point... Hopelessly late to the party and totally unprepared.
18.09.2025 20:13 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Nothing will happen... so far nothing has happened as a result of any of the things that the administration has done. It seems there's nobody who can actually demand accountability.
18.09.2025 20:01 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We drove in from Croatia to see your show in Padua, Italy a few years ago and you were fantastic. The best part of the show was hearing all of the different accents of the people in the audience singing along.
You are one of the best representatives of what's good in the USA. Thank you!
The oceans of shit he "never ever thought of" are vast beyond all measure.
03.09.2025 16:20 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He's right - it is "the human heart" and "mental health."
It's not the shooters' hearts or mental health though. It's the collective rot that has taken over the hearts and minds of the Republican party who have sold their souls to the gun lobby.
I think the motto is "Excellence through Incompetence," though it was misprinted on the t-shirts to read "Excellence through Incontinence."
29.08.2025 15:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0When you hear "they live among us" referring to lizard people or other aliens, Jeanine is who I think of - that is if the lizards were soaked in cheap red wine.
29.08.2025 15:13 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This might be a smart give-away for the EU in trade negotiations.
Anyone who has driven a car in Europe knows that US style vehicles don't fit on roads or in parking spaces.
Anyone who knows Europeans knows that it's unlikely that many US trucks would sell in Europe anyway.
Counterpoint: His ineptitude is providing Europe with an opportunity to become less reliant on the US. The EU has the resources to take care of itself. We'll see if it has the will power.
If anything, Trump's isolationism will succeed, and the USA will be a sadly diminished country when he's done.
You're kidding right? He'll always find someone else to blame. Sadly a lot of people, media included, will just follow along without questioning.
"Undoing?"
His heart disease will be his undoing. (And then what?)
"As equals" is better treatment than Trump will get in the American and global press. The rest of us know he got his ass handed to him, again...
And Russia is what? Quoting John McCain: "As gas station masquerading as a country."
Another day of winning for the USA. Pathetic.
Let me guess... he's about to make another "deal" and somehow, we're going to end up giving Alaska away...
11.08.2025 18:32 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And for him, that time was almost 20 years ago.
Seriously, retirement age for most people is around 65. Why do we allow these people to essentially grow old and die in office?
I don't know Rep. Danny Davis or his politics but at 83, after 30 years, he should have passed the baton some time ago.
Or if sunshine is not your thing, I hear Russia is looking for emigrants as well, especially men of "fighting age."
23.07.2025 17:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0California should stop forwarding funds to the federal gov't so that they can save up for their own disaster relief.
California (the 4th largest economy in the world) is one of the many "blue" states that pay more than they receive from the feds. If they stop paying, red states will feel the pain.
Ukraine will have their own long range missiles soon enough. The failure of the west to supply them will cost in so many ways - one of which is the lack of real world testing.
Regardless of the outcome, when this ends, Ukraine will have one of the most tested and innovative militaries in the world.
It's like 3 years past the time when Hungary should have been booted from the EU.
The only reason Hungary is still around is because of cheap(er) manufacturing costs than other EU nations. Europe can afford to get rid of Hungary. Hopefully one of these days they will, or at least cut off the money.
And now, after Trumpβs tariff harassment, Kazakhstan will likely continue to gravitate towards China. How does this serve US interests?

09.07.2025 08:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Surprising from the man who shuns empathy as weak and has the emotional IQ of a toaster.
Struggling. Of course he doesnβt understand why nobody likes him.

19.06.2025 17:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Which Constitution will his followers believe? The one in the 'bible' or the one in the National Archives?
Along with injecting religion and dogma into schools, re-writing history through omission, and their amplifiers in right wing media; they have a lot of coverage.
How do the Dems fight back?
