Mississippi's Declaration of Secession similarly said slavery must be protected because "by an impervious law of nature, none but the black race can bear exposure to the tropical sun."
Box divided in two, top half black with white printing reads "Meet our Medical Director" Bottom white with Black print reading "Dr. Jasper Kennedy, MD." in the center of the box is a large picture of Dr. Kennedy, a white person with short blond hair and glasses wearing a light blue short sleeve dress shirt over a black tshirt, with a super jaunty light and dark blue print necktie. While Dr. Kennedy has the sweet face of someone who is posing for their senior picture, I promise they are in fact a licensed medical professional and old enough to have completed residency and NOT a Doogie Howser.
Finally! Welcome to Dr. Jasper Kennedy, MD (he/they), our newest provider! An Alabama native, Dr. Kennedy has returned to the state to provide care to underserved patients - especially our gender non-conforming ones.

01.08.2025 16:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The fact that I don't know why the whole sky is talking about men getting laid is because I went offline to have a quickie with my husband is my moment of joy today...

31.07.2025 16:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Tuscaloosa orgs say β6000 foster kids in the stateβ to justify massive payouts to these groups despite the local population being 2% of that. And theyβll do it while decimating the local schools, cutting off health care and snap and refusing anything but faith based support. And call it Prolife.
31.07.2025 16:22 β π 12 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Alabama receives tens of millions in reimbursement for foster care - and these are the orgs they give it to. Rather than build programs that would help these families keep their children and resource them at home whenever possible.
31.07.2025 16:16 β π 13 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0The thing is, we are spending massive amounts of money in and around Tuscaloosa to support fostering organizations.
Meanwhile, there are only 150 kinds in foster care here, and most are fostering with their own family members. abc3340.com/news/local/t...
Or the amount of city resources going into this org, which just serves as a training place for foster families yet somehow there still arenβt enough. www.tuscaloosaangels.org

31.07.2025 16:06 β π 10 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0One told me about a teen who was sent for a visitation and had a mental health episode. He ended up in the hospital and was just kept there until he turned 18 because at least it was a bed.
31.07.2025 16:04 β π 16 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The stories I hear from lawyers helping kids in Tuscaloosa are horrendous. Iβve learned that often the kids who are announced as missing runaways are actually kids in the system who just walk out rather than stay.
31.07.2025 16:02 β π 24 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Since the Dobbs decision, the only real changes in Alabama has been to make it easier to dissolve parental rights and to make it easier and have less oversight over foster care and adoption. All contracts go through the state. Last week a contractor left a toddler in a car and killed him. Now this.

29.07.2025 16:57 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Some people, including some pro-lifers, have downplayed the impact of these Planned Parenthood closures. That is because fewer women are obtaining abortions in abortion facilities and more women are obtaining abortions via telehealth. The recent report issued by the Society of Family Planning indicates that approximately 25 percent of all abortions are done by telehealth. However, I would argue that these closures are still a positive development for pro-lifers. Even Planned Parenthood facilities that do not perform abortions still do abortion referrals. Furthermore, when a Planned Parenthood closes, fewer people work for the abortion industry. Finally, Planned Parenthoodβs contraception and sex education programs create a more promiscuous culture that results in more abortions.
reminder that they are totally coming for birth control...
