I agree. The whole idea that walkable cities would be bad for disabled people because "no cars 😱" is ludicrous. Even if there were no cars, there'd be alternatives. Proponents of walkable cities are in my experience also pretty strong on fair access for all, particularly those with difficulties.

Well. In principle yes, but maybe don't use Paris as example in this case. Public transport is a disaster for disabled. Its backbone - the metro - is not accessible to wheelchairs. At all. So you take the bus and every journey takes twice as long.
