You are a child and monsters are trying to kill you because another child ate some flowers, which resulted in multiple deaths, a war declaration, and a divorce.

It's that time again: I've updated my ongoing Undertale fanfic, Hollow Heart, and it didn't even take a whole year!

In this, spaghetti is cooked, siblings are bullied (as always), and stargazing happens. It's a very long chapter.

As a little kid, I stepped on a bent copper cooking skewer in the bathroom and got it embedded in my foot. I don't remember why I had a copper skewer in the bathroom, but I do remember cutting off my sock, pulling the skewer out myself, and then just slapping a bandaid over it. I was fine.

Welp, 2025 has easily been one of the worst years of my life, but I guess I survived it. Plus I did play Deltarune, and there's still more Deltarune coming, and 2026 can't possibly be much worse than this, so I've got all that going for me.

Warframe is a doll dress-up game where I have to play a parkour hack n' slash minigame sometimes to unlock new dolls.

If every fantasy book cover had to have a similar vibe, I'll definitely choose "beautifully hand-crafted oil paintings dripping with adventure and intrigue" over whatever the heck modern fantasy books are doing.

I made the Undertale pie. It's vegan except for the authentic human child's soul you can see at the center.

Canon: The Daedric Princes are those "ACKSHUALLY those are WYVERNS" pedant types.

A headcanon I decided on for my own Undertale fan writings is that a lot of the weirder-looking monsters are the result of generations of different monster species having kids together, because that would have been necessary after the monster population was decimated in the war.

And I haven't even really played a Halo game. But I've absorbed enough that I saw that and thought "hey, weren't the Spartans made from kidnapped and tortured children?" So I looked it up to be sure, only to remember "oh right, it was even worse than that."

Also, ICE comparing themselves to the UNSC - a group who kidnapped and mutilated children to turn them into supersoldiers for the express purpose of quelling any challenges to their authority - is not much more comforting than them comparing immigrants to the Flood.

I don't understand why Undertale fans are like this. I also play a lot of Half-Life fangames, and I don't remember, say, Entropy: Zero 2 getting the kind of backlash that Undertale Yellow did, and I'd argue that both games are of roughly equal quality in comparison to their source material.

Time for me to switch to TempleOS, I guess. At least the only chatbot I'll ever have to hear about again is God.
